Club fundraising in brief
Club fundraising is when a club, team or class sells products to fund things like tournament trips, equipment or shared activities. Members and parents help each other, and the sale creates both income and engagement.
Over the years, established players in cakes, clothing, sweets and raffle tickets, among others, have built a strong tradition. Their work has made club fundraising a well-known and appreciated way to support club life.
With Roots we want to help develop that market further. Our contribution is premium hair and body care – products that are used every day, run out and need to be bought again.
Why hair and body care suits clubs
Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are already on many people's shopping lists. When the club offers Roots Schampoo, Roots Conditioner and Roots Body Wash, the customer can combine an everyday purchase with support for club life.
Behind the products lies long experience and knowledge of hair and skin care. To us, premium means well-thought-out products that customers appreciate and happily choose again.
Repeat purchases are an important part of Roots. When the products become part of the customer's everyday life, the support for the club can continue beyond the first sales period. That creates the chance of a relationship that lasts and brings recurring income.
How Roots makes selling simple
Simplicity is a guiding principle for Roots. We want to be the helping hand that makes it easy to get started and smooth to run the sale.
Every seller gets a personal shop and QR code to share with family, friends and others who want to help. The customer orders and pays online. Delivery can be collected to the club, team or class, and the customer can also choose home delivery.
The club follows the sale in the portal and receives 35 percent of the sales value during the shared sales period. Digital ordering and payment reduce admin and make it easy to see how the sale is going.

What to think about before you start
Start with a shared goal. A tournament trip, new equipment or an activity everyone is looking forward to makes it easier to build engagement.
Choose an offer that suits your club and give sellers a simple description of the products, their personal link and a clear goal to work towards. Also tell them how much the sale gives the club and what the money will be used for.

An everyday purchase – support that can continue
A successful sale has to work between school, work and training. With the personal shop, the offer is close at hand when the seller meets someone, sends a message or shares a link.
Personal contact still matters. It is the commitment to the team, class or club that drives the sale forward. Roots makes it easy to turn that commitment into a purchase – and gives the customer a reason to come back when the products run out.
That is how we want to contribute to the next chapter of club fundraising: with premium for everyday life, simple handling and the chance of long-term support for club life.
Frequently asked questions
- Is club fundraising the same as MLM?
- No. Roots is club fundraising through the club's own sellers and shops — not a network marketing system. Revenue goes to the club according to the agreed model.
- Do we need to store products ourselves?
- No. Orders are handled digitally and delivered either collected to the club, team or class or straight to the customer. You do not need stock in the clubhouse.
- Does it only suit sports?
- No. The model works for sports teams, cultural clubs and other non-profits that want to raise money in a more modern way.
